Bookkeeper | $45,000-$65,000/Year | Based on Experience Now Hiring: Bookkeeper A growing financial services firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support its accounting, finance, payroll, and tax functions. Salary: $45,000-$65,000 per year, based on experience This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with hands-on bookkeeping experience who is comfortable managing multiple financial responsibilities, handling confidential information, and staying organized in a small-office environment. Candidates with experience as a Bookkeeper, Full-Charge Bookkeeper, Junior Accountant, Accounting Specialist, or Accounting Assistant are encouraged to apply. Bookkeeper Responsibilities As a Bookkeeper, you will assist with a variety of accounting and financial responsibilities, including: Process payroll-related tasks Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and prepare electronic and paper payments Process receipts and revenue transactions Download and import banking transactions into accounting software Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Generate and process invoices for client accounts Prepare and enter period-end journal entries Maintain accurate electronic and paper financial records Assist with general bookkeeping and accounting functions Provide administrative and financial support as needed Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and company financial information Bookkeeper Qualifications 2-5 years of Bookkeeper, Junior Accountant, or related accounting experience Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Experience with payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and account reconciliations Understanding of general bookkeeping and accounting practices Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion Comfortable working in a small-office environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and reprioritize responsibilities as needed Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications Certified Bookkeeper designation or currently working toward certification Experience with Salesforce Experience with Quicken Additional experience with accounting, payroll, tax, or financial services is a plus Why Apply? $45,000-$65,000 annual salary, based on experience Opportunity to utilize and expand your QuickBooks and bookkeeping skills Diverse accounting responsibilities Hands-on experience with payroll, AP/AR, reconciliations, invoicing, and journal entries Professional financial services environment Opportunity to work independently while being part of a collaborative team Excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper or Junior Accountant looking for career growth #J-18808-Ljbffr Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East
