Production Scheduler

Applications sent through recruiters or agencies may not be considered. Position summary: TS Tech will implement an updated Enterprise Resource Planning system. As a Production Scheduler – Shared Services, you will be part of the team that controls and manages all aspects of scheduling in a JIT manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for the day-to-day releasing of production orders, and scheduling of different equipment based on customer needs. Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience: Education: Graduated from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Production and Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and Logistics or a closely related field or equivalent work experience in multiple areas. Experience: Three years or more of progressively responsible for production scheduling, forecasting, level loading a JIT manufacturing environment. Knowledge of QAD is a plus. Skill Set: Effective written and oral communications skills with the ability to work across the organization. Knowledge of ERP Systems. Ability to learn quickly. Problem solving/root cause analysis. Experience in Training and Presenting. Fluency in English and Spanish required. Primary Position Responsibilities: Collaborates with plant facilities to understand manufacturing processes, production lines, customers, customer requirements, capacity limits and EDI transactions. Ability to train end users of varied positions and levels of technical ability. Ability to lead and solve problems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and follow through. Ability to work independently and manage numerous deadlines. Ability and willingness to occasionally work outside of regular office hours. Understanding of how schedule changes will impact the end user(s). Ability to professionally manage multiple production lines and customers. Excellent analytical skills / ability to make decisions based on data. Environmental conditions - Open office environment. May be exposed to moderate noise levels. Vocal Communication - Required to express or exchange ideas by means of concise (clear, correct and timely) discussion with coworkers and customers. Hearing Perception - Ability to recognize information at normal spoken levels and/or ability to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or make fine distinctions in sound. Sensory Utilization - Prepare and analyze written or computer data. Physical Activities – There are no special vision requirements. Visual Acuity - There are no special vision requirements.
