Team Leader - Pilot Plant Lab Support

Team Leader position at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Unity Lab Services managing laboratory operations and a team of specialists at customer facilities. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of on-site lab specialist team with full employee lifecycle oversight
• Oversee inventory management, procurement, chemical tracking, media preparation, and materials handling operations
• Conduct equipment maintenance, assist with production runs, and ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed
• Maintain GMP compliance including daily logs, training requirements, and document archiving
• Identify service expansion opportunities and support process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of leadership experience supervising laboratory or service teams
• Experience in GMP/GLP regulated environments preferred
• Strong project management and analytical skills
• Demonstrated success in customer relationship management
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to establish and implement processes and procedures
