Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist at our onsite Rehabilitation Center, you will engage with patients in a bright, welcoming clinical setting specifically designed for rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical limitations, mobility challenges, and functional capabilities to design personalized treatment plans aligned with their recovery objectives.
• Implement specific therapeutic exercises and interventions aimed at enhancing strength, balance, coordination, endurance, and overall physical health.
• Support patients in relearning essential mobility skills, such as walking and transferring, especially those who have experienced prolonged immobility.
• Educate patients and their families on fall prevention strategies while implementing preventative measures to minimize risks within the clinical environment.
• Administer pulmonary rehabilitation programs to patients with respiratory issues, focusing on improving their lung function and exercise capacity.
• Collaborate actively with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care, frequently consulting with nursing and occupational therapy staff.
• Assist patients in improving their performance of daily living activities (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) to elevate their level of independence.
• Introduce cognitive rehabilitation techniques to enhance residents' mental functions, promoting engagement and a sense of autonomy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients predominantly include elderly individuals recovering from surgeries, strokes, chronic illnesses, and injuries. Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of California.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective interaction with patients and team members.
• A deep-seated passion for rehabilitative care and patient recovery.
• The ability to develop and execute patient-centered treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by an attractive benefits package.
