Travel Nurse Job Details Position: Mother/Baby Registered Nurse (RN) Employment Type: Travel Nurse Contract Location: Bozeman, MT 59715 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours Shift: 12-hour night shifts Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370 Schedule Note: May require flexibility for weekends, after-hours needs, and occasional on-call support Environment: On-site hospital-based nursing role Mother/Baby RN Job Requirements Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification STABLE certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, with recertification every 2 years At least 1 year of RN experience preferred Experience in Mother/Baby, postpartum, antepartum, labor and delivery, or women’s health nursing preferred Ability to practice modified primary nursing and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team Strong communication, critical thinking, and time-management skills Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and composure in a fast-paced hospital setting Willingness to float as needed for patient safety and team support Responsibilities Provide compassionate, family-centered postpartum care to mothers and newborns Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans Implement, evaluate, and document nursing interventions and patient outcomes Support patient education and family teaching throughout the postpartum recovery process Collaborate closely with physicians, neonatal staff, and other healthcare team members Maintain safe, high-quality nursing practice aligned with current standards and hospital protocols Respond appropriately to changing patient needs and clinical priorities Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient experiences Participate in required education, skills validation, and competency maintenance Why Apply for This Bozeman Nursing Job?
