Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing support, is seeking a Supply Assurance Buyer to join their team. As a Supply Assurance Buyer, you will be part of the GSC LSG Operations Department supporting critical supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and a problem-solving mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. #LI-JH1
Job Title: Supply Assurance Buyer
Location: Richmond, CA
Pay Range: $40-45
Shift: Monday-Friday, day shift 8-5pm
What's the Job?
- Place purchase orders for goods and services needed to support manufacturing operations
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure supply chain efficiency and reliability
- Monitor inventory and stock levels to meet production and inventory goals
- Identify and resolve potential supply issues proactively
- Work actively within SAP system to manage workflow and resolve invoice discrepancies
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or production planning
- Experience with expediting and issuing purchase orders
- Proficiency in SAP MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerBI, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
