Certified Medical Assistant - DOPC Fredericktown - Part-Time Responsible for the clinical and clerical support in the physician office. This includes, but is not limited to, patient assessment, vital signs, phlebotomy, urinalysis/body fluid specimens, EKG’s, along with documentation, faxing, copying, and mailing records, completion of forms, scheduling of tests for patients; and pre-certifying patient visits/screenings. Clerical support for scheduling/reception of patients, registration, charging and initiation of new records; and maintenance of current records. Communicates and collaborates with other healthcare team members. Adheres to organizational policies and procedures. Requirements Include Registered/Certified Medical Assistant required High school diploma or equivalent.
