Layla is a Canadian mental health care service that facilitates access to therapy and psychological assessments across four provinces. Since our founding in 2019, we've supported over 25,000 clients and work with a community of 500+ registered contract clinicians in Canada. About the Psychological Assessments Program

Our Psychological Assessments Program facilitates virtual diagnostic assessments and we're currently looking for clinical psychologists registered in Ontario to join it on a part-time, contract basis. This works well if you're already in private practice, or working in the broader health system and want to take on a small amount of assessment work on the side (1–3 assessments per week). You keep your independence and set your own schedule, while we refer you clients, handle the coordination and admin, and welcome you into our provider community.

Right now we are focused on psychologists who can assess for ADHD alongside other diagnoses, primarily in adults. Being able to assess children 12+ is a nice-to-have. Our program assesses for ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, BPD, health-related disorders, substance use, eating disorders, and more. Our clients typically seek a diagnosis for treatment planning, medication conversations with their GP, or workplace/school accommodations. The program does not cover third-party disability applications, capacity or custody evaluations, legal/tax or medical-legal assessments, or psychoeducational assessments.

How We Collaborate With Psychologists

You set your own capacity and schedule, and we build around it. There are no monthly or referral fees. You're paid a competitive flat fee for each completed assessment, and we cover the cost of the psychometrics you choose to administer. You'll also be part of a community working to make assessments easier for clients to access, alongside compassionate, skilled psychologists focused on good outcomes. Layla Partner Psychologists get access to Layla's broader optional educational and social events.

Basic Requirements

Registration as a psychologist or psychological associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario Limited supervision is available for psychologist residents on track to their supervised practice year Training and experience assessing ADHD, mood/anxiety disorders, and trauma (ability to assess BPD is an asset, not a requirement) Professional malpractice liability insurance in place Comfort using technology, and the ability to see clients online (we provide the secure platform) Nice to have: Experience and competency assessing adolescents 12–18
