We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Specialist with experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehousing procedures, utilizing material handling equipment, and working within an FDA-regulated environment. This role demands a hands-on approach, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both tactically and strategically.

Responsibilities

• Perform various warehousing procedures utilizing material handling equipment.
• Maintain and operate a computerized inventory control system (ERP system).
• Utilize strong math and problem-solving skills to support inventory management.
• Handle materials safely and accurately, supporting production, quality, R&D, and administrative functions.
• Use and manage material handling equipment such as pallet racks, hand trucks, and motorized lifts.

Essential Skills

• Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Intermediate level computer skills with word processors and spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with BOMs, JIT, and FIFO concepts.
• Effective analytical problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in an FDA-regulated environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and customer inquiries or complaints.
• Professional communication skills both orally and in writing.

Work Environment

Under general supervision, this role requires a 6 AM start time from Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for the timely, safe, and accurate handling of materials, ensuring all related transactions are properly managed in the ERP system.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
