As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Batchelor, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will help manage access control, verify badges, monitor entry activity, and support daily patrols of assigned areas. In this role, you will remain visible, help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $11.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to control authorized access for employees, contractors, and guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and/or potential security-related issues.
• Communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding access requests, delivery activity, and/or security-related concerns that may impact daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
