As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Batchelor, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and patrol assigned areas to help support a secure environment. In this access control role, you will remain visible, assist with security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while reflecting our values of reliability, teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $11.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-adjacent areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter locations as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Support employees, contractors, and visitors with directions, badge processes, and screening expectations while maintaining awareness of security-related activity at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
