Medical Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated, clinically curious, and competitive sales professional to join our Cancer Care division as an Associate Cancer Care Sales Representative for the Greater Cleveland territory. This role offers a lucrative target compensation structure with $150,000 in total first-year earnings potential, blending a stable base salary with highly competitive, uncapped quarterly commissions designed to reward top performers. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the awareness, scientific adoption, and utilization of our innovative cancer care portfolio. You will manage a high-potential territory, building trust-based relationships with community oncologists, major hospital networks (including the Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals), pharmacists, and multidisciplinary cancer care teams. Responsibilities Territory Growth & Sales Execution: Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets by executing a disciplined territory business plan. Identify, profile, and prioritize key cancer care accounts and decision-makers. Clinical Exchange & Education: Articulate complex scientific, clinical, and safety data to sophisticated healthcare providers (HCPs). Lead high-impact, peer-to-peer educational discussions regarding tumor staging, treatment pathways, and patient outcomes. Account Navigation & GPO Coordination: Navigate the complex cancer care buying environment, including buy-and-bill models, specialty pharmacies, hospital formularies, and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs). Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with internal stakeholders, including Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), Nurse Educators, and Field Reimbursement Specialists, to provide a seamless, supportive experience for local practices and patients. Continuous Learning: Maintain an expert-level understanding of competitive products, emerging clinical trials, and evolving cancer care guidelines (e.g., NCCN guidelines). Qualifications Experience: 1–3 years of documented, successful professional sales experience. Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, B2B sales, or a clinical background (e.g., oncology nursing, cancer care coordination, or clinical research) is highly preferred. Track Record: A proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, navigating objections, and managing a distinct territory. (Candidates should be prepared to share a "brag book" or quantifiable performance metrics). Education: Bachelor’s degree required (a focus in life sciences, business, or marketing is a plus). Clinical Aptitude: Exceptional ability to comprehend, interpret, and communicate complex clinical papers and scientific concepts related to cancer care treatments. Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Cleveland healthcare landscape, hospital systems, and community cancer care networks is a strong advantage. Travel: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned geographic territory daily, with occasional overnight travel for regional/national sales meetings.
