Catering Sales Specialist – Delivery & Corporate Accounts Tasty Catering is seeking a customer-focused Catering Sales Specialist to join our team and play a key role in assisting clients while supporting the ongoing growth of our delivery division. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building client relationships, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service from first contact through post-event follow up. Position Overview As a Catering Sales Specialist, you will be part of a collaborative sales team responsible for assisting delivery catering clients. You will guide customers through the ordering process, manage event details with precision, and ensure every order reflects Tasty Catering’s high standards. In addition to assisting with inbound inquiries, this role supports revenue growth through account retention, proactive outreach, and identifying opportunities within existing client relationships. Key Responsibilities Respond to and manage inbound catering inquiries Receive, process, and oversee delivery catering orders accurately and efficiently Enter and maintain event details in Caterease Manage menu revisions, confirmations, and updates in a timely manner Coordinate with Culinary, Operations, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless execution Build and maintain strong client relationships with clients Support retention and incremental growth of revenue Conduct proactive outreach to maintain and re-engage inactive clients Follow up post-event to ensure satisfaction and repeat business Contribute to overall department revenue and service goals What We’re Looking For Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational ability Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment Professional, positive, and solution-oriented mindset Collaborative, team-oriented mindset Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service Self‑motivated with a desire to grow Compensation & Benefits $50,000 to $55,000 annually Bonus eligibility: Performance-based bonus tied to achieving and exceeding annual revenue goals Medical and dental insurance 401(k) plan with company match Company-wide profit-sharing program Paid time off and paid leave in accordance with Illinois law Complimentary breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages Growth opportunities within an established, award‑winning company This is a full-time, exempt in-office position based in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
