Your Role as a Founding Partner & Lead Veterinarian

This position goes beyond traditional leadership; it presents a chance to establish and guide a veterinary practice with the robust support of a well-established network. As the Founding Partner & Lead Veterinarian, you will serve as the foundation of the hospital, tasked with creating a premier medical culture, mentoring your staff, and steering the business towards success as a genuine owner.

• Cultivate a Vibrant Practice Culture: You will design a client-focused, collaborative environment, setting the standard for medical excellence and teamwork from the outset.
• Guide and Develop Your Medical Team: You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and nurturing your associate veterinarians and support staff, creating a team that is skilled, efficient, and motivated.
• Ensure Medical and Surgical Excellence: You will establish and uphold the hospital's care standards, guaranteeing exceptional patient care while providing mentorship in general surgery and dentistry.
• Engage in Business Ownership: Collaborating closely with your Hospital Manager, you will oversee the hospital's financial performance, making strategic choices that promote revenue growth and long-term viability.

Your practice location has been strategically chosen based on robust demographic, market, and growth data, ensuring the Founding Veterinarian and hospital have the best prospects for enduring success. The Lake Nona West site, situated on Boggy Creek Road, is in a prosperous community poised for rapid growth, with over 70,000 new residents anticipated due to developments like Laureate Park and Isles of Lake Nona. This area is specifically designed to be pet-friendly and will soon welcome thousands of families who currently lack established veterinary connections.

Your hospital will be the sole veterinary provider in Orlando's leading open-air lifestyle center, alongside well-known brands, nestled in one of Florida's most pet-friendly communities where dog parks, trails, and events are integral to everyday life. What You Will Contribute to the Team

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and a valid license to practice.
• At least 4 years of veterinary experience, with a solid background in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
• A compassionate and collaborative leadership approach, capable of mentoring and developing associate veterinarians and support staff.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to operate a successful practice.
• Previous formal leadership or management experience is highly advantageous.
