Duties

Provide financial management accounting advice and recommendations to Command program managers and budget analysts.

Provide advice and guidance covering a wide variety of financial policies and program/system requirements.

Assist customers in the resolution of problems pertaining to various financial management missions.

Determine financial management information requirements, makes recommendations.

Perform analyses of financial data on a regular basis and by specific request.

Research historical fixed costs, variable costs and one-time costs.

Analyze multiple year financial management execution trends and develop predictive factors.

Oversee the organizational government travel charge card (GTCC) program to monitor usage and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

Conduct comprehensive travel transaction audits to identify, resolve, and mitigate potential improper payments.

Advise command personnel and travelers on complex routing and entitlement guidelines to ensure accurate travel authorizations and vouchers.
