Job Description Centene is hiring a Remote Psychologist Reviewer specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a focus on individuals with Autism. The ideal candidate will hold a California Psychologist license and, preferably, a BCBA certification. Position Purpose Authorize, direct, and monitor care for behavioral health and/or substance abuse problems based on clinical information and internal criteria for medical necessity. Conduct peer reviews with psychologists, behavioral health therapists, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts for outpatient services and testing requests. Educate network practitioners on best‑practice models and utilization management processes. Collaborate with the Medical Director or designee on clinical authorization questions and specific case concerns. Respond to state, provider, and member complaints related to psychological testing or other services requiring review by a PhD/PsyD. Facilitate outpatient rounds offering clinical input and oversight related to outpatient services. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. Education & Experience PhD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Behavior Analysis, or a related field required. 2+ years of behavioral health experience required. Working knowledge of psychological tests, testing procedures, diagnostic evaluations, and evidence‑based practices is essential, particularly for applicants focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorder. Licenses & Certifications PSY – Psychologist Unrestricted License (PhD or PsyD) required upon hire. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – BCBA‑D preferred. Pay Range $87,700.00 – $157,800.00 per year.
