Litigation Paralegal - Property Damage / Insurance Claims

About the Firm SHER Legal Solutions is hiring a full-time, in-person Litigation Paralegal for a Houston-based litigation firm located near the North Loop. The firm represents policyholders in property damage insurance disputes involving storm, hail, and fire claims, along with a small personal injury docket. Position Overview We are seeking a qualified Paralegal for a permanent full-time, in-person position. This role is ideal for a professional with 3 to 8 years of experience who is comfortable balancing high-level legal tasks with essential office support. While the firm specializes in property damage, the attorneys are looking for a versatile individual to manage both case files and day-to-day office operations. Key Responsibilities Execute customary paralegal tasks, including drafting discovery, preparing demands, and managing case timelines. Coordinate and execute electronic filings in State and Federal court systems. Manage front-end operations. Organize photos, weather reports, and drone footage; coordinate with public adjusters and engineers. Analyze insurance policies to identify coverage, deductibles, and exclusions. Qualifications 3–8 years of litigation experience (Property Damage or First-Party Property experience is a plus). Experience filing in Federal courts is strongly preferred. A "no task is too small" attitude, comfortable switching between complex legal drafting and general office administrative duties. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; experience with Filevine is a plus. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume evidence gathering independently.
