Accounting Supervisor

Dexian is partnering with a client in the northern Winston-Salem, NC area to hire an Accounting Supervisor . This position will oversee daily accounting operations, lead the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team, ensure compliance with GAAP, and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on accounting leader with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Responsibilities Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff. Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, cash activity, payroll postings, and fixed assets. Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and account variance analyses. Complete sales tax filings and other compliance reporting. Support annual audits and maintain accurate financial documentation. Monitor internal controls and recommend process improvements. Qualifications 7+ years of progressive accounting experience. 5+ years of supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and ERP systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. CPA or other professional certification is a plus.
