Health Care Nurse

Overview Avera Pierre Clinic is looking for a Registered Nurse to work primarily days with occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays in the United States. The position includes a pay range, a potential $10,000 sign‑on bonus, and a $2,500 relocation bonus. Responsibilities Provides professional nursing care to patients and families, communicates with physicians and the healthcare team, and coordinates patient care activities in the clinic. Skills include administering medications, preparing equipment for procedures, assisting providers during examinations, and managing appointment scheduling. Screens patients for health history, takes vitals, performs nursing assessments, and records information in the patient chart. Handles patient phone calls, educates patients and families on diagnostics, medications, nutrition, and wellness, and addresses patient care crises or complaints. Maintains exam rooms and supplies, labels pathology specimens correctly, and performs quality control for laboratory testing. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with a current state license upon hire.
