Title: GCP Data Engineer Duration: 6 months Location: hybrid, San Jose, CA Responsibilities Provide specialized GCP data engineering capability for Finance Transformation, including scalable finance data pipeline design and integration.. Design, build, and optimize cloud-based data solutions on GCP to enable finance reporting, analytics, and operational processes. Collaborate with finance, business, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data engineering solutions. Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are implemented across finance data platforms and integrations. Support performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of finance data architecture, pipelines, and reporting capabilities. Requirements 5+ years of experience in data engineering with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture. Hands-on experience designing and implementing large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions for finance or enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of cloud data technologies, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, and related GCP services. Experience working with finance data domains, financial reporting, and Finance Transformation programs. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across finance, business, and technical teams.
