Concur Expense Report Auditor Long Term Contract

The Concur Expense Report Auditor is responsible for auditing and supporting the organization's SAP Concur expense management system. This role ensures employee expense reports comply with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review and audit employee expense reports for compliance with company travel and expense policies.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of submitted documentation, receipts, and business purpose requirements.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve policy violations, duplicate expenses, and reimbursement discrepancies.
• Ensure expenses are coded accurately to appropriate cost centers, departments, projects, and general ledger accounts.
• Communicate audit findings and policy guidance to employees and managers.
• Escalate non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions as necessary.

Employee Support & Training

• Provide day-to-day support for employees and approvers.
• Respond to inquiries regarding expense reporting, travel policies, reimbursements, and system functionality.
• Conduct training sessions and create user guides for Concur users.
• Assist employees with report submissions, receipt management, and mobile application usage.
• Generate and analyze expense, travel, and compliance reports.
• Monitor key performance indicators related to expense processing and policy adherence.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance user experience.

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience processing expense reports
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Detail-orientation individual who has strong analytical and judgment skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills desired to be able to work independently and as a team player

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intermediate knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures
• Knowledge of GAAP, business principles and standard operating practices
• Complex problem solving and analytical skills

Education:

High school diploma or GED is required. Some Accounting College level courses are preferable.
