AP Manager

Our client is seeking an AP Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for managing personnel, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments, maintaining strong vendor relationships, automating workflows, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $100,00 per year.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate coding, approval workflows, and proper documentation of incoming invoices.
  
  
• Perform daily bank deposits and reconcile bank statements.
  
  
• Manage the SAP Concur Travel Booking and Expense system, enforcing related processes and procedures.
  
  
• Review and resolve discrepancies in vendor invoices promptly.
  
  
• Prepare and manage 1099 yearly tax filings, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  
  
• Provide financial data to support management decision-making.
  
  
• Work closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues and support business goals.
  
  

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and solve problems and reconcile difficult accounts.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management.
  
  

Education and Experience:

• BS/BA Degree in Accounting or Business with an emphasis in accounting.
  
  
• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable and accounting.
  
  
• Good knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
  
  
• Knowledge of state and local regulations related to accounts payable.
