Collaborate with a dynamic team in a hands-on leadership role.Job DescriptionOverviewLead nursing operations at a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational excellence.Oversee OR, Pre-Op, and PACU departments, driving infection prevention, risk management, and staff education initiatives.Collaborate with physicians and staff to align nursing care with facility policies and regulatory standards.Promote a team-oriented culture while maintaining compliance with scope of practice standards.Support routine surgical workflows and emergency response situations effectively and efficiently.Ideal for a clinical leader with orthopedic and spine experience in outpatient surgical settings.Opportunity to drive quality improvement programs and operational efficiency in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities & DutiesProvide clinical and administrative oversight for OR, Pre-Op, and PACU departments.Implement and manage quality improvement, infection control, and risk management programs.Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to nursing scope of practice standards.Lead staff education and competency initiatives to enhance clinical performance.Foster clear communication and collaboration across departments to optimize patient care.Support surgical workflows and respond effectively to emergency situations.Maintain a collaborative, team-oriented culture within the facility.Job RequirementsBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.Active, unrestricted NY RN license with advanced OR certification preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience in outpatient surgical settings, with 1 year of administrative/supervisory experience.Proven expertise in Pre-Op, PACU, Circulating, and Orthopedic/Spine surgeries.Experience in infection prevention and central processing operations.Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
