Licensed Vocational NurseWe are seeking experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses to provide nursing care to individuals with complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needs.In this role, you will be responsible for providing patient care, administering medications and treatments, educating patients regarding their medications, and completing required documentation. This position offers an opportunity to use your nursing skills in a specialized healthcare environment while supporting the overall care and well-being of your patients.Position DetailsPosition: Licensed Vocational Nurse Location: Terrell, Texas Rate: $47/hour Assignment Length: 6-month contract Schedule: Sunday through Saturday Shifts: Alternating shifts based on staffing needsAvailable Shifts6:45 AM – 3:15 PM2:45 PM – 11:15 PM11:00 PM – 7:00 AMCandidates may be able to start on any day of the week, provided at least five days are available to complete required pre-employment processing.ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care to patients with complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needsAdminister medications and treatmentsProvide medication education to patientsComplete required patient care documentationPerform computer data entryComplete training on required computer systemsFollow established procedures and standards related to patient careMaintain compliance with applicable healthcare policies, standards, rules, and directivesRequirementsValid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licenseMinimum of 2 years of nursing experienceStrong patient care and communication skillsAbility to work with individuals who have complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needsAbility to work a variety of shifts based on staffing needsWillingness to complete all required training and onboarding requirements
