Hiring: Senior Java Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Site Reliability Engineer to support and maintain highly available enterprise production platforms across cloud and distributed environments. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in reliability engineering, incident management, observability, and mission-critical application support within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Support and maintain large-scale production environments with high availability requirements

✔ Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management activities

✔ Monitor and optimize Java applications, microservices, and distributed systems

✔ Implement resiliency patterns including circuit breakers, retries, and failover mechanisms

✔ Drive observability initiatives using monitoring, logging, alerting, and automation tools

✔ Collaborate with development, cloud, and infrastructure teams to improve reliability and deployment efficiency

✔ Coordinate disaster recovery testing, capacity planning, and production readiness reviews

✔ Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership across reliability initiatives

Preferred Background:

✔ 16–20 years of experience in SRE, Production Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Application Support

✔ Strong experience supporting large-scale enterprise production systems

✔ Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or other regulated industry experience preferred

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
