Trusts & Estates Planning Associate Attorney

A national law firm is seeking a Trust & Estate Planning Associate to join its Estate Planning Practice Group in Tampa. The practice provides sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, and wealth management advice to individuals, businesses, and charitable organizations.

The role is suited to associates with 1-3 years of trust and estate planning experience. This is an opportunity to build a long term Trust & Estate Planning practice within a collaborative and growing office environment while developing meaningful client relationships early in career.

Must Haves

1. 1-3 years of trust and estate planning experience
2. Experience across estate planning, trust and estate administration, estate and gift tax planning, and business succession planning
3. Experience drafting complex estate planning, business succession, and charitable giving documents for high net worth individuals
4. Exposure to probate proceedings, federal gift and estate tax returns, and tax exempt organization planning
5. JD from an ABA accredited law school, active Florida Bar membership, and strong drafting and communication skills

Nice to Haves

1. Experience advising on income, gift, estate, and generation skipping transfer tax planning
2. Interest in building a long term Trust & Estate Planning practice

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $225,000 – $260,000
