Our Team Members Are The Heart Of Our Club Show Map Location 3500 Clubhouse Lane,Boynton Beach, FL, 33436,United States Base Pay $25.00 - $32.00 / Hour Employee Type FT Non-Exempt Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician keeps the physical structure, appearance and associated equipment of the Club in good working order by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform or assist in preventative maintenance programs. Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical to include light switches, receptacles, breakers, motors, light fixtures, bulbs, ballasts/drivers, and ceiling fans, etc. Maintain, troubleshoot and repair plumbing to include faucets, sinks, drains, toilets, urinals, flush valves and water valves. Clears plumbing blockages using a plunger, hand snake or electrical drain snake, etc. Maintain, troubleshoot and repair carpentry to include cabinet repairs, wood and metal door and door hinges, closures, locksets, light furniture repairs, picture and mirror installation, shelving installation, etc. Maintain, troubleshoot and repair finishes to include small drywall repairs, priming and final coats of paint with usage of brush, roller or sprayer, wallpaper, textured surfaces etc. Pressure cleans buildings, walkways, cart paths, and assists in drain line jetting, etc. Drives a golf cart or company truck/van. Maintain a clean and safe workshop, club, and workspace. Perform any additional tasks as requested by Facilities leadership. Education/Experience: High school diploma, or GED preferred 3-5 years of experience is preferred in all aspects of building maintenance and repairs Experience in a Country Club and Hospitality maintenance a plus Qualifications/Skills Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work flexible hours, including possible evenings and weekends Able to use all types of tools and equipment efficiently and safely Able to adapt to changing work priorities Able to communicate and work with a diverse group of people Must be at least 18 years old and available to work a varied schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays Must be able to read, write and speak in English well, fluent in Spanish is a plus Licenses or Certificates Certifications in trades a plus Physical Requirements (The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to use step ladders, extension ladders, and 6ft scaffolding. The job consists of both inside and outside work.
