Position Title: General Labor/Tile Setter


Wage: $19.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Thurs with possible overtime Fri)


QPS Employment Group has a great General Labor/Tile Setter position available at a company in Arnold, MO. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.


General Labor/Tile Setter Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary materials.
- Assist with measuring, cutting, and installing tiles (ceramic, porcelain, quarry, or industrial tile).
- Mix and apply mortar, grout, adhesives, and other compounds.
- Perform general labor duties including material handling, loading/unloading, and site cleanup.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely.
- Follow instructions, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
- Travel to job sites as required.

General Labor/Tile Setter Requirements:
- Previous construction or tile experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift 35+ pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in industrial and construction environments.
