Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our OBL and Cardiovascular Ambulatory Surgical team. This role combines clinical and administrative expertise to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations. The ideal candidate is a Certified Medical Assistant with strong experience in cardiovascular care, recognized for exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and confidentiality. The PSR will report directly to the Cath Lab Manager/Director of Nursing. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for patients, delivering professional, courteous, and empathetic service. Support healthcare providers with clinical duties, including recording vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and accurately documenting medical histories. Perform administrative functions such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, coordinating correspondence, handling front desk operations, and monitoring office supply inventory. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies. Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations, office procedures, and quality standards. Facilitate communication and workflow between clinical and administrative teams to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction. Proficiently use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and office software to support both clinical and administrative processes. Qualifications Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) required. Minimum 3 years of experience is required, preferably in a cardiovascular group or specialty medical practice . Demonstrated success in both clinical and administrative support roles within a healthcare setting. Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to accuracy, professionalism, and patient-focused service. Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare regulations, and office best practices.
