Location: Lenexa, KS 66215
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Type: Temporary with potential for permanent hire

We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to join a busy distribution operation in Lenexa. This is a hands-on warehouse position working primarily with electrical wire and cable.

Previous cable-cutting experience is NOT required. We will consider candidates with at least one year of solid warehouse experience who are dependable, safety-minded and willing to learn.

What You'll Do

• Load cable reels onto winding equipment
• Measure and cut cable to required lengths
• Lag and prepare reels for shipment
• Weigh, box and handle cut cable
• Handle and properly dispose of scrap cable
• Move and organize reels within the work area
• Keep the warehouse and outside reel/yard areas clean and orderly
• Follow established safety and warehouse procedures
• Assist with additional warehouse responsibilities as needed

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of recent warehouse experience
• Reliable work history and good attendance
• Comfortable working in a physical warehouse environment
• Ability to learn cable-cutting and winding equipment
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Calm, dependable and able to adjust to changing priorities
• Steel-toe shoes required

No previous wire or cable experience is necessary—we're looking for a strong warehouse employee who is willing to learn.
