Senior Trial Attorney

The firm has built a reputation for successfully representing individuals and families in complex, life-changing cases and is seeking an attorney who can confidently manage sophisticated litigation from case inception through trial. Key Responsibilities Lead complex litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle Develop and execute case strategy for high-exposure medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases Take and defend depositions, including physician and expert witness depositions Draft and argue motions, attend hearings, and manage discovery Prepare cases for mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial Serve as lead trial counsel in significant plaintiff-side litigation matters Work closely with clients, experts, and legal support staff Mentor junior attorneys and legal professionals as needed Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active Texas Bar license in good standing Minimum 10 years of litigation experience Significant medical malpractice experience required Proven trial experience in high-value plaintiff litigation matters Extensive experience taking and defending physician expert depositions Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills Outstanding communication and client relationship abilities What We Offer Annual bonus opportunity Additional compensation tied to successful case resolutions 401(k) with employer contribution Paid time off State Bar dues and professional memberships paid Strong litigation support staff and trial resources Opportunity to work alongside nationally recognized trial attorneys Long-term career growth with a successful and highly respected plaintiff practice #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
