Duties & Responsibilities Manage construction layout/staking and topographic/boundary survey projects from initial setup through final closeout. Plan and develop project scope, procedures, schedules, and budgets. Review contracts to identify key requirements, milestones, and deliverables. Work with Survey Coordinator daily to schedule appropriate field crews for projects. Ensure projects are completed accordingto client specifications and contractual obligations. Oversee project quality control and conduct field safety audits. Coordinate surveying work with contractors, engineers, technicians, and office staff. Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and final deliverables. Monitor project budgets, schedules, and change orders, addressing issues proactively. Supervise survey crews and support staff, including reviewing time sheets, expenses, and work quality. Maintain strong client relationships, manage correspondence, and resolve project related issues. Support business development by preparing proposals, pursuing new opportunities, and maintaining ongoing client relationships. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience with demonstrated success managing surveying or construction-related projects. Strong leadership and client management skills. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Survey Equipment, and Leica Scanners. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to visit and safely navigate construction and projects sites in compliance with safety requirements.
