Job Description As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol in Ventura, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and shipping and receiving areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures. Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
