Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Ventura, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government healthcare location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $24.53 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Mon 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM Tue 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri 12:00 AM - 06:00 AM Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and information, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
