SwiftTalent Partners is seeking Apartment Maintenance Technicians to complete service requests, prepare vacant apartments, and keep Austin-area communities operating smoothly and safely.

What You'll Do

· Complete resident service requests in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.

· Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, light HVAC issues, fixtures, doors, locks, flooring, and hardware.

· Handle drywall patching, painting, caulking, carpentry, blinds, screens, cabinets, countertops, and basic repairs.

· Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and support the turnover/make-ready process.

· Keep grounds, maintenance areas, shops, storage rooms, and common areas clean and safe.

· Log work orders, follow up on repairs, communicate supply needs, and follow safety standards.

· Participate in on-call rotation, emergency maintenance, and overtime when assigned.

What We're Looking For

· 2+ years of on-site apartment maintenance experience preferred.

· Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, and painting.

· HVAC/EPA certification preferred, but not always required; additional maintenance certifications are a plus (CPO, etc)

· Strong communication, teamwork, customer service, and follow-through skills.

· Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and basic tools may be required by assignment.

· Previous management experience - ability to manage a team, coordinate vendors, develop budgets, etc.

Schedule / Physical Requirements: Schedule may include on-call rotation, weekends, emergencies, and mandatory overtime based on property needs. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, walk the property, and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions.
