Lead Carpenter / Working SuperintendentCB ConstructionSeattle, WA | Full-time | On-siteField Leadership | Craftsmanship | Client ExperienceWe are seeking a skilled, organized, and solutions-oriented Lead Carpenter / Working Superintendent to help lead high-end residential construction projects from active build through completion.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can confidently manage the field production of complex projects, including subcontractor coordination, quality control, homeowner communication, and day-to-day jobsite documentation. You'll work closely with the leadership team to keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining the level of craftsmanship and professionalism that custom residential clients expect.If you take pride in planning that delivers efficient production while minimizing reactive problem-solving, we'd love to speak with you.What You'll Be Responsible ForField Leadership & Jobsite ManagementPlan and lead daily onsite construction activities across remodel and custom residential projectsCoordinate subcontractors, schedules, deliveries, and inspectionsMaintain project momentum while identifying and resolving field issues proactivelyEnsure projects are executed safely, cleanly, and professionallyConduct regular quality control walkthroughs and punch list managementMaintain accurate daily logs, site documentation, and progress updatesCarpentry & Hands-On ProductionPerform skilled rough and finish carpentry work as neededAssist with layout, framing, cabinetry, trim, hardware, blocking, and specialty installationsSupport field crews during critical production phasesSet the standard for craftsmanship and attention to detail on-siteClient & Team CommunicationServe as a professional point of contact for homeowners during active constructionCommunicate schedule updates, site conditions, and next steps clearly and professionallyCollaborate closely with project managers, designers, and ownershipHelp mentor junior carpenters and field team membersWhat We're Looking For5+ years of residential construction experience preferredPrior experience as a Lead Carpenter, Superintendent, Foreman, or similar field leadership roleStrong understanding of residential construction sequencing and building practicesAbility to read plans, specifications, and scopes of work confidentlyComfortable balancing hands-on carpentry with project coordination responsibilitiesStrong organizational and communication skillsProfessional demeanor with clients, vendors, and trade partnersAbility to troubleshoot and adapt in fast-moving environmentsExperience with project management software such as Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore, or similar is a plusThe Right FitThis role is ideal for someone who:Enjoys both building and leadingTakes ownership without needing constant oversightOperates with professionalism and accountabilityUnderstands the importance of client experience in residential constructionWants to be part of a company that values craftsmanship, communication, and long-term team cultureCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experienceOvertime opportunities where applicableCompany vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement (if applicable)Paid time off and holidaysGrowth opportunities within a growing companySupportive leadership team and strong project pipelineTo ApplyPlease submit your resume along with a brief introduction outlining your experience in residential construction and field leadership.We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and knows how to keep projects moving while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship and professionalism.
