Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to enhance skills such as mobility, cognition, and daily living tasks
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work harmoniously with OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers supportive therapy methods to maintain progress beyond therapy sessions
• Monitor and Record Progress: Observe clinical developments and modify treatment as necessary, keeping patients on an effective recovery path

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Continuing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
