Floor Nurse (RN/LPN) - Evening Shift - Long-Term Care
This position offers an 8-hour evening shift from 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM, with every other weekend required.
The Floor Nurse (RN/LPN) will provide care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities include medication administration, wound care, monitoring vitals, and assisting with activities of daily living. Nurses will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care.
- Medication and treatment administration
- Blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration
- IV medication administration, including antibiotics
- Tube feedings, wound care, and lab draws
- Assessment charting and incident reports
- Monitoring vital signs and oxygen management
- Performing admission assessments and fall assessments (RN only)
- Valid RN or LPN license
- BLS certification
- Prior experience with Point Click Care (PCC)
- Experience in measuring wounds (no staging required)
