Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

The registered nurse will provide essential labor and delivery care on a per diem basis, ensuring safe and compassionate support for patients during childbirth. This position offers flexible scheduling with a focus on maintaining high standards of clinical practice.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in labor and delivery settings.
  
  
• 
  Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs continuously.
  
  
• 
  Assist with labor progression and provide support throughout delivery.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and manage clinical interventions as prescribed.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on childbirth processes and postpartum care.
  
  
• 
  Ensure full compliance with all hospital policies and regulatory requirements prior to and during assignment.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Proven experience in labor and delivery or maternity nursing preferred.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.
  
  
• 
  Capable of completing required compliance profiles within designated timeframes.
