Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Onsite | Shift options include 12-hour and 8-hour shifts; day and afternoon start times available

Key Responsibilities

• Independently circulate across a high-volume OR environment averaging 80–120 cases per day across 33 operating suites
• Support a full range of surgical service lines including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Bariatric, and Surgical Oncology
• Participate in 24/7 Level I Trauma Center poly trauma response as needed
• Take standby call as required, with a 30-minute response time; expected 20–30 hours of standby call per 4-week period
• Work scheduled weekend shifts (12-hour blocks) as directed by OR management
• Float between operating suite areas based on case type and experience level

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to circulate independently in the OR
• Willingness and availability to take call, including weeknight, weekend, and holiday call as discussed
• Proficiency or ability to learn EPIC OP-Time EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ambulatory or outpatient surgical cases
• Familiarity with Xi Robotics (Surgical Oncology, Urology, or GYN procedures)
• Background across multiple surgical service lines including Ortho, Neuro, ENT, or Ophthalmology
• Experience with OR equipment such as Bovie machines, Neptune suction, drill consoles, Ligasure, or Argon Beam
