Hold a valid California teaching credential in physics, or be enrolled in a teaching intern program. Believe deeply that students in Oakland deserve—and can achieve—excellence. Compensation & Benefits
Full salary scale. Full health benefits (medical, dental, and vision) with no employee contribution for the employee and qualifying dependents. Credentialed teachers enrolled in the California State Teachers Retirement System (CALSTRS). Option of 403B enrollment + 3% matched 457(b) retirement saving contribution after three years of employment. Relocation assistance of up to $2,000.
