We are a busy, patient-focused ophthalmology practice seeking a creative, organized, and results-driven Marketing Coordinator to help expand our community presence, strengthen patient relationships, and support continued practice growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about marketing, branding, and community engagement.
Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator will develop and execute marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, attract new patients, and strengthen referral relationships. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and strong organizational skills while collaborating with physicians, leadership, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms.
- Coordinate community outreach events and practice-sponsored activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians and community partners.
- Create marketing materials including brochures, newsletters, patient education resources, and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor online reviews and assist with reputation management initiatives.
- Track marketing performance using analytics and prepare monthly reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Manage the practice's website and social media channels with engaging, educational, and compliant content.
- Coordinate photography, video content, and patient success stories while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
- Stay current with healthcare marketing trends and identify new growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of marketing experience; healthcare or medical practice experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with website content management systems and email marketing platforms is preferred.
