Description:The Inpatient Pharmacist will provide medication management and clinical support within a healthcare setting.This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.Candidates must have experience with high-alert medications and understand pharmacokinetic dosing.Skills in sterile technique and therapeutic medication monitoring are essential.The pharmacist will collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and ensure safe medication practices.Flexibility in scheduling is required, including weekend coverage and potential call responsibilities.Charting experience is preferred, with Cerner being the primary system utilized.Candidates must be prepared to support a daily patient census of approximately 15.Specialized knowledge in various therapeutic areas, including infectious disease, oncology, and pain management, is beneficial.Applicants should demonstrate strong clinical acumen and a commitment to patient-centered care.
