Vice President Finance

We're partnering with a growing digital health and behavioral healthcare organization that is transforming access to mental health and wellness services through innovative technology and community-based programs. The organization is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Finance to serve as a key business partner to executive leadership while overseeing critical accounting, reporting, forecasting, and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with executive leadership and department heads to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, scenario modeling, and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Operations teams on pricing strategies, contract reviews, revenue forecasting, and business performance.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support audit, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Manage public sector and government-related invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual requirements.
• Support state and federal reporting obligations in government-funded or publicly contracted environments.
• Develop financial analyses and recommendations that improve operational and commercial performance.
• Lead and mentor a lean finance team while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive process enhancements and scalability initiatives across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
• Strong background in financial reporting, controls, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing business decisions.
• Demonstrated success supporting commercial or revenue-generating teams.
• Experience with government, public sector, or highly regulated billing and invoicing environments.
• Knowledge of state and federal reporting requirements.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP; IFRS experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Background

• Healthcare, digital health, SaaS, technology-enabled services, behavioral health, or other regulated industries.
• Multinational and/or publicly traded company experience.
• Experience leading finance operations through periods of growth and transformation.
