Executive Housekeeper

Occasional travel to the Hamptons may be required during the summer months. This is a live-out position. Job Description A warm, welcoming, and highly respectful private family is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to join their established household team. This is a unique opportunity for a polished, service-oriented professional who takes pride in maintaining beautiful homes while providing thoughtful, behind-the-scenes support. The ideal candidate possesses a hospitality mindset and understands the nuances of working within a private residence. They are discreet, organized, adaptable, and naturally intuitive, with the ability to anticipate needs, read the room, and seamlessly blend into the household environment. Candidates with backgrounds in luxury hospitality, private estates, or luxury motor yachts are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will work alongside a long-tenured Housekeeper and report to the Estate Manager. This is a collaborative, team-oriented environment where professionalism, trust, flexibility, and longevity are highly valued. While the schedule is generally Monday through Friday, flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, and seasonal support in the Hamptons is appreciated when household needs arise. Responsibilities Perform daily housekeeping and detailed cleaning to exceptionally high standards Care for fine furnishings, finishes, and household items Manage laundry, ironing, steaming, and wardrobe care Maintain organization throughout the residence, including closets, storage areas, and common spaces Clean and maintain kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas Handle dishes and kitchen upkeep as needed Assist with household inventories and supplies Coordinate with and follow up on household vendors and service providers Support seasonal household operations and occasional Hamptons property needs Assist with special projects, organization initiatives, and general household support Work collaboratively with existing household staff to ensure seamless operations Requirements Prior experience in private service, luxury hospitality, yachting, estates, or high-end residences preferred Strong housekeeping and laundry skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability Ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative Strong sense of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality Comfortable working in an active family environment Valid driver's license is helpful but not required Ability to travel locally to support the Hamptons residence when needed Personal Attributes Warm, kind, and easygoing Polished and professional Trustworthy and dependable Quiet confidence with a service-oriented mindset Naturally organized and proactive Able to anticipate needs without requiring significant direction Flexible and adaptable Skilled at reading the room and understanding household dynamics Long-term mentality and genuine enjoyment of private service Compensation $40-$45 per hour, depending on experience Paid time off Paid holidays Stable, long-term employment with a highly respectful family Opportunity to work within a collaborative and well-established household team #J-18808-Ljbffr Hire Society
