About the Role
Our client is seeking a UX Product Designer to support a high-impact ecommerce product area focused on Cart, Checkout, Payments, and digital purchasing experiences. This role is well suited for a designer who brings strong product design fundamentals, systems thinking, and a collaborative mindset. You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and Accessibility teams to create intuitive, scalable, and user-centered experiences across web and mobile platforms.

Job Description
In this role, you will help shape seamless, customer-focused digital experiences that support critical moments in the online purchasing journey. Working across web and mobile platforms, you will translate user needs, business goals, and technical requirements into thoughtful design solutions that are intuitive, accessible, and scalable. This position requires a strong balance of UX strategy, hands-on execution, and cross-functional collaboration to improve ecommerce experiences and drive meaningful outcomes for both customers and the business.

Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive and scalable user experiences across web and mobile platforms
• Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, Content Designers, and Accessibility partners to define and deliver user-centered solutions
• Participate in design critiques, workshops, discovery activities, and strategic planning sessions
• Apply systems thinking to understand how design decisions impact broader customer journeys and business objectives
• Utilize customer insights, research findings, analytics, and experimentation results to inform design decisions
• Contribute to and leverage existing design systems, patterns, and accessibility standards
• Communicate design rationale effectively to stakeholders and cross-functional partners
• Balance strategic thinking with practical execution in an agile product environment
• Explore emerging design tools and workflows, including AI-assisted design and prototyping capabilities

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, or related digital product design roles
• Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools
• Strong experience designing end-to-end digital product experiences across web and mobile platforms
• Demonstrated expertise in:
  • Prototyping
  • User-centered design
  • Interaction design
  • User flows and journey mapping
  • Wireframing and high-fidelity UI design
• Experience working with design systems and scalable design patterns
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices, including WCAG
• Experience conducting, interpreting, or applying user research and usability testing insights
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and Accessibility teams
• Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Portfolio required, including passwords if applicable
• Experience designing ecommerce or other transactional digital experiences
• Experience supporting Cart, Checkout, Payments, or purchasing workflows

• Familiarity with:
  • Digital wallets
  • Fintech or payment experiences
  • Personalization
  • Conversion optimization
  • Experimentation and A/B testing methodologies
• Experience designing customer account, loyalty, rewards, or subscription experiences
• Experience partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver complex workflows into production
• Experience contributing to enterprise-scale design systems
• Interest in or exposure to AI-enabled design workflows and emerging prototyping tools
