Job Opportunity Logistics Associate – BMW Plant, Spartanburg, SC (Greer, SC area). Position includes new pay increase. Hofmann USA Dental, Vision, Life, Accident, Short‑Term Disability, and Critical Illness Insurance 401(k) with matching after 1 year of service 80 hours of Paid Time Off per 2000 hours worked Up to 13 paid holidays Pay increase after 1 and 2 years of service Employee discount program Referral program providing $50 to both referrer and referral after 80 hours of work Schedule Day shift: 6:45 am–7:00 am to 5:25 pm–5:40 pm Night shift: 7:15 pm–7:30 pm to 5:55 am–6:10 am Shift schedule depends on location During training: 5 shifts of 8 hours a day for 1–2 weeks After training: 4 shifts of 10 hours a day per week Duties and Responsibilities Operate small industrial vehicles (stand‑up forklift, sit‑down forklift, VNA forklift, cherry picker, tugger, reach truck, small box truck, pallet jack) as needed Assist in managing and distributing goods within BMW’s logistics system Move and transport parts and pallets from incoming trucks, stacking them in assigned locations—including racks up to 30 ft. high Use a cherry picker forklift or reach truck to move and transport large items on warehouse shelves Scan, pick, sequence, inspect, and transport parts to ensure the production line has correct parts in a timely manner Perform general warehouse duties as necessary Essential Job Functions Work in a fast‑paced environment with problem‑solving and multitasking skills Maintain a stationary position during a shift Shift between upright and low stances as required Reach overhead as necessary Operate machinery to perform job functions Move and transport up to 50 lbs unassisted Required Experience 6+ months forklift experience Experience using RFID inventory scanners Stockroom, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience is a plus Experience using SAP is a plus High school diploma or GED About Us We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and celebrate our employees' differences, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, Veteran status, or any other protected classes.
