Laboratory Liquid Handling Solutions Account Manager – San Francisco / Northwest Laboratory Liquid Handling Solutions (LLHS) Account Manager responsibilities focus on prospecting, customer engagement, product demos, pricing, and post‑sales support within the Bay Area / Northern CA. What you will be doing Effectively identify prospective customers through cold‑calling, emails, and lead generation; promote the LLHS portfolio; schedule and conduct demonstrations; provide quotations; negotiate pricing; follow‑up with purchasing; and transition post‑sales installation to the support team. Establish and build customer relationships within academic research and pharmaceutical companies to support growth and expand business within the assigned territory. Quickly learn the technical product portfolio and conduct compelling presentations to prospects utilizing demo equipment. Conduct interactions with internal and external customers with a high level of integrity to maintain FORMULATRIX’s reputation. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree with a scientific specialization; prior hands‑on biochemistry or biological laboratory experience is highly desirable. Experience selling to pharma/biotech or academic biology institutions preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills. Excellent prioritization and time‑management skills. Proven ability to utilize technology savviness to quickly learn technical products and convey complex information persuasively. Self‑motivated and proactive individual with initiative and follow‑up. Ability to think strategically and solve creatively. Willingness to travel as necessary, including trade shows; estimated overnight travel 30–50%. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
