Job Title: HVAC Start up Technician Job Location: Kernersville, NC 27284 Department: Residential New Construction HVAC Reports to: RNC Manager Pay Scale: $18.00-$25.00 Job Summary: To ensure residential heating and air conditioning systems are correctly installed, tested, and operational according to company standards, while providing the customer with high-quality experience. Primary Job Function Arrive at the jobsite at scheduled time and location as dispatched. Inform and educate customers regarding any issues or needs. Always maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Perform initial start-up and pressure tests for new systems. Monitors system operations, interpret gauges and instruments, and adjusts controls. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Valid driver’s license and insurable driver's record. Knowledge of industry preferred. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to work from ladders. Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in the maintenance of HVAC equipment. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Ability to operate power and hand tools safely. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Universal EPA Certification. NATE certified. Possess tools needed. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year experience at an HVAC company. Physical Requirements Stooping, walking, bending, climbing. Ability to lift up to 50-100 lbs.
