Job Summary:
This is a Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) located in Baltimore, Maryland. The selected candidate will provide peri-anesthesia care with a focus on traumatic injury management and recovery support for adult and geriatric patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour rotating (day, evening, night rotation) with a schedule of 3x12 hours per week, minimum of 36 hours.
• Start Date: 07/20/2026
• Contract Duration: 12 weeks
• Required Qualifications: Active RN Maryland license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, at least 2 years ICU experience, 1 year of nursing experience, experience with charting in Epic EMR, and comfortable with patient ratios of 2 per shift.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level I & II Trauma Centers, previous charge nurse experience, community hospital experience, and trauma experience.
• Additional Information: The unit is a 12-bay Shock Trauma PACU providing 24/7 peri-anesthesia care, including management of ventilated patients, vasopressor titration, intraoperative procedures, and trauma-related care. The team supports both scheduled and emergency surgeries, emphasizing critical care competencies. Candidates must be willing to float to pre-op, ICU, and sister facilities as needed.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI required.
• Vaccinations: Flu vaccine required; Covid-19 vaccine not required.
• Other Details: The position involves complex patient care, including airway management, blood product administration, and trauma response.
